OOTD - Everyday

Hey there!

So I guess todays post fits in to the fashion category; although I am no fashion expert, I just wear what I think looks nice and suits my body type. Also this outfit is very minimalist and is just a little something which could be worn everyday and it is not designed to be any sort of fashion statement. However it is one of my
favorite outfits as I feel it can be dressed up an dressed down; it feels very put together and clean and I think
that it would suit many body types.

The Plain White Tee
This is one of my summer staples! It just goes with everything and simplifies an outfit whilst making it look clean, fresh yet fashionable. It is loose fitting so doesn't cling to any body parts we'd rather hide! It's a super casual start to an outfit but to change it up a bit for this outfit I chose a 'cropped' white tee. Now don't let the word 'cropped' scare you if you team a cropped tee with high waisted bottoms it only shows a very small section of stomach so it is not too revealing. Cropped tees are also very good if you want to show of the detail on your high waisted bottoms.

                                                          High Waisted Jeans
Topshop jeans are my all time favourite brand of jeans and these high waisted 'Joni' jeans are no exception! I have basically lived in these jeans for the whole of the summer; they're super soft, comfortable, skinny fitting and the sizes are a wide range which is a bonus for me as I massively struggle to find jeans that are small enough to actually fit. I  love the simplicity of these jeans as it really adds to the outfit and easily shows off your curves!I like to roll up the bottom of these jeans to make them into an ankle grazer style! The colour of these jeans is a lovely medium-light blue which is very summery and goes exceptionally well with all other colours. These jeans are summery, comfortable and a flattering fit...PERFECTION.

                                                                     Vans
Footwear for me must be comfortable (comfort over fashion anyday;)) so Vans or that style of shoe are perfect for me. they are super comfy, casual yet also quite fashionable. Although it is hard to see on this picture, the Vans I am wearing here and navy blue and white striped and they are the perfect touch to a simple outfit! Whilst they are a simple style of shoe the pattern jazzes them up a bit, making the outfit a little bit more interesting as the rest of the outfit is very simple.

                                                                                                                                                 The Finishing Touches - Necklace

This is a bold statement gold chain necklace with a short chain so it falls high up on the neckline. I love this necklace as I find that it really adds to an outfit, especially some plain like this t shirt. It dresses the outfit up a little but so that it is still casual and makes a statement as the rest of the outfit is very minimalist. I think that it ties everything together and works well teamed with red lipstick. This is one of my favourite chain necklaces that I have found as it looks really striking but it was very cheap and is fairly lightweight so it doesn't weigh your neck down.

Awkward Welcomes...

Hello and welcome! (it's fair to say that I am no SprinkleofGlitter, no alohas over here)

Here it seems that you have happened upon my blog, my little place on the internet to share my thoughts about anything beauty, fashion and maybe even sometimes a cheeky bit of lifestyle. I have decided to join the many young girls seeking to begin a successful beauty/fashion blog! However for me I just intend this to be a hobby. somewhere to escape from the realms of reality into the heaven-like world of fashion and beauty; a place a which I feel almost too at home.

Now for the irrelevant, egotistical part of this post - about myself (don't worry I shall try to make it short and sweet) I am a 15 year old avid blog and youtube watcher/reader, I am Yorkshire born and Yorkshire bred and I am currently entering  my last year of high school. While I do not intend to have a future in fashion/beauty as I said previously, it is a hobby of mine and I thought that creating my own blog would be a fantastic way of procrastinating through exam revision time!

Now with the awkward welcomes out of the way - I hope that your first impressions are good and that you would like to stay tuned for my first real beauty related blog post. So grab yourself a cup of rosie lee (or coffee if you prefer) and come on; come join me in my beauty blog adventures!

Tarra (that's goodbye in Yorkshire speak;))
